What:
The British School at Rome currently have several opportunities open to creatives to research and focus on their work in Rome and Italy.

The Derek Hill Foundation Scholarship is open to artists over 24 for whom painting and/or drawing is central to their practice. This Scholarship is for a 3 month stay from October – December 2013.

The Sainsbury Scholarship in Painting and Sculpture is open to promising and ambitious painters and sculptors under 30. This Scholarship is for a 12 month stay from October 2013 – September 2014.

The Rome Fellowship in Contemporary Art is a new award for an early-career artist, working in any discipline with a significant track record of exhibiting. This Scholarship is for a 3 month stay from October – December 2013.

All of the above opportunities include a substantial research and travel grant.

Submissions must be received by 31 January 2013.
