I do enjoy charting my various workspacees over the years! The main trend seems to be that places are getting more vertical, as you can see. My space is at the Southside Studios and in fact my studio is more where I think and document and make small things, whereas the larger making goes on in various places/workshops. The most important thing for me is that it’s a homely place and adaptable, so the room changes quite regularly depending what is occupying my time the most. To be honest, I find tidy workplaces a bit suspicious as in putting order into the things I’m making normally demands that mess is made elsewhere. It’s like entropy.
