Another good month for the Central Station Member Fund. 25 applications. 2 of them successful.

Congratulations to Recoat and to TaytoetTayto on behalf of the Confraternity of Neoflagellants.

We’ll leave it to them to tell you in detail what they’ll be spending their money on, but for now, here’s a quick summary:

Glasgow-based gallery Recoat are plotting an exhibition in June. In Warsaw. They’re working with graffiti artists Insa and Inkie who’ll be exhibiting and making a mural together on-site. To get there they’re going on a bit of a road-trip through Europe, blogging and uploading all the while.

The Confraternity of Neoflagellants. Now then. These guys tell us they’re investigating Premodern Futures (that’s a trademarked phrase apparently.) They’ll be looking into medieval analogies for virtual communities – seemingly Central Station is remarkably similar to a Medieval Feudal system. Their curatorial projects will be popping up in Iceland, Scotland and what was once the Kingdom of Northumbria. And on here of course…
