People taking turns on difficult jobs

A collection of work by renowned British artist, Chad McCail on the theme of co-operation and collaboration, explored in three of his major bodies of work: Food Shelter Clothing Fuel, 1999-2003; Snake, 2003; and his show at Edinburgh Printmakers, 2008.

Chad McCail has been nominated for the Beck’s Futures prize and exhibited in the British Art Show 5. His images reference the illustrations common to British Ladybird books, and the kind of instructional guides for appliances, maps and airplane passenger safety cards.
