Edinburgh Art Festival has announced a new platform for Early Career Artists to participate in the 12th edition of the festival, which will run from 30 July to 30 August 2015.

Submissions will be reviewed and selected by Edinburgh Art Festival director Sorcha Carey, leading contemporary artists Christine Borland and Craig Coulthard. Between 3-5 artists will be selected from the open call, and work closely with the festival director and team to present their work in a group exhibition as part of the 2015 festival. The artists will receive a production allowance (up to £1500) and an artist fee of £500 as well as any technical support required.

To be eligible, applicants must have been living in Scotland for at least the past two years and have a BA in Fine Art (or related subject) obtained between 2-10 years ago. Also, you must not have exhibited in a public institution or be represented by a commercial gallery.
