Starter for 6 is a business training and investment programme for creative industry start-ups offering the chance to pitch for up to £10,000 of investment. They are currently open for applications.
If you have an innovative and creative idea, Starter for 6 can help you turn it into a creative business. The programme offers participants training sessions and specialist advice along with a safe place to try out ideas with like-minded people. There’s also the opportunity to become part of the Starter for 6 Network – made up of previous programme participants.
Could the programme be for you? Past businesses have included a hip hop dance video-sharing platform, a Scottish ski manufacturer, an agency that designs and produces unique food and drink experiences and many others from across the creative industries.
