On the steps on the shore of the river Vistula in Warsaw there is an egg made of concrete. It is empty inside, there is a hole in the shell so you can peek inside, climb inside if you want, something has come out – it was visible for an instant, the 20th of August 2010. Passers by could hear the sound of knocking, see a hole painstakingly emerge and a creature come crawling out, covered in white fabric, stretching out along the shore after her like a snake. Afterwards the shell was left behind, abandoned.
