To celebrate 100 years since its creation, AIGA (the American Institute of Graphic Arts) has brought together selected works, audio and video interviews with leading designers and significant moments from their history into a dynamic online platform. The project is intended as a continually expanding source of inspiration and education for designers and the public alike.

The website has been organised into categories so users can browse works which connect, inform, assist, delight and influence people. Viewers are also encouraged to add their own favourite examples of design history.

The site’s navigation is clean and effortless, which is one of the reasons it’s been shortlisted for a host of awards including the SXSW Interactive Innovation Award which they won in March.
