Artist Matt Mignanelli lives and works in New York City. His paintings explore the relationship between structure and nature, and are inspired by energy, patterns and light.

“My studio is located in the Bushwick neighborhood of Brooklyn. I’ve been working on new large-scale monochromatic paintings recently. The studio faces west and has great light. One of my favorite things is the incredible sunsets most nights over the Manhattan skyline.”
