What:
Streets of Liverpool was started two years ago by Liverpool photographer, Jane MacNeil. Jane is a member of the Fab Collective, a group of photographers that came together after Liverpool’s Capital of Culture celebrations in 2008. She started the Streets of Liverpool project in 2010, documenting life in her hometown, looking for those little subtleties and idiosyncrasies. Every month a candid photograph from Liverpool’s busy streets is posted on this blog.
Why we like it:
The honest portraits all seem to have humourous undertones combined with considered and appealing compositions.
