Since meeting at university in Leeds, Jodie and David saw eye to eye on robots, kittens and evil monkeys. They began to work under the name of Peskimo in 2004, and together they have crafted a vast array of characters and illustrated creations that have appeared on T-shirts, magazines, newspapers, billboards and nightclub walls. They find inspiration in cartoons, vintage graphic design and overhearing people in the post office queue. Since working as Peskimo, the pair has worked with a wide variety of clients including Sony, Barclays, MTV, BBC, Vodafone and AOL.
We mainly work from this bright first floor room in our home in Bristol. We also share it with our cat Mochi whose hammock is on the radiator! We take inspiration from all over the place, we have a washing line above our desks with some of the fun little things we find. The shelves are full of toys and books we love. It’s a great room to work from.
